The Dark King: Forbidden Riches Theme

If you like dark, Gothic-themed slots, then The Dark King: Forbidden Riches is for you. This mediaeval themed fantasy slot is set in an eerie chamber in the Dark King’s castle. Watching over the proceedings is a fearless knight in black armour. Spin, and you can land the faceless Dark King symbol or bright blue orb wilds and ruby scatters. There are free spins to be won and sticky wilds and multipliers to keep you glued to your mobile.

Sound & Soundtrack

The soundtrack is a beautiful orchestral piece. The music enhances the mediaeval feel, and the soundtrack changes the mood from eerie to jubilation. You also have a setting to switch it off if you do not like it.

Bonus Feature

The Dark King: Forbidden Treasure slot is a classic five-reel and three-row mediaeval fantasy slot. It has 20 fixed paylines. You must land symbols in the fixed lines starting from the left or first reel to make winning combinations. Free spins are what you are aiming for in this game. To win big, you must land the multiplier and sticky wild features. Both bonuses are triggered in the feature.

Symbols

The ten to ace playing card royals are written in a beautiful gothic script. They are the lower-paying symbols. The faceless Dark King with purple armour is the top paying symbol, followed by his scary knights. Each of these faithful knights is dressed in different colours of armour.

The knights have blue, green, orange, and red armour. The wild symbol is a bright blue orb, and the scatter symbol in the game is a big red ruby. Getting five wilds or Dark Kings in a paying line will pay x25 your wager.

Multipliers

The wild multiplier is a bonus feature. The wild multiplier is triggered when a blue wild appears next to the sticky wild in a free spin. The multiplier starts at x1 and increases by x1 with each consecutive spin where there is a wild next to the sticky wild. After the feature is completed, the win value is multiplied by the multiplier value. The maximum value for the multipliers that you can build is x5.

Free Spins

Landing three to five red gem scatter symbols wins you free spins from x10 to x15. Another bonus feature is the sticky wild. There are sticky hotspots between reels two to four as you play the feature. These hotspots are in a fixed shape between reels two to four.

If you land a wild on that hotspot, it becomes the sticky wild and stays there for the duration of the free spin feature. Extra free spins are awarded when you have wilds falling on the hotspots. Extra free spins increase your chances of a big win.
