Book of Souls Remastered Theme

Opening the game, you find yourself in front of a stone gate, dimly lit by four torches. The stones are carved with mysterious symbols that cover a Mayan temple.

The five low paying card symbols A-J and 10 are carved on a block of stone in Mayan calligraphy; the Book of Souls is a scatter symbol and acts as a wild with four premium paying symbols that are portrayed as a man with a gun, ancient masked and a lady with a hat. The reels fall into place instead of spinning, giving the impression of being in an actual ruin, with snake symbols appearing as an overlay symbol occasionally during a snake spin, in the base game.

Sound & Soundtrack

The background music combines a flute and guitar, creating a tense atmosphere. Every now and then, you can hear soft raindrops falling. The music can be muted by going into settings if it is too distracting.

Bonus Features

Book of Souls Remastered comes with numerous bonus features to increase your winnings.

Free spins in Book of Souls Remastered

If the book of souls, which functions as a scatter, appears three or more times on any reels, you will be rewarded with 10 free spins. In the free spin round, one of the regular symbols becomes a bonus symbol, expanding to fill a reel as a line scatter.

Gamble ladder

When you have a winning combination, you have an option of doubling your win by clicking on the ladder symbol. A new screen will appear with steps of a ladder, and in each step, an amount from 0.00 to 150.00 is portrayed. Your gamble amount will show on the right of the screen. You can choose the amount you want to gamble, the amount will be highlighted on the ladder, and with each win, you will progress step by step up the ladder. At a loss, you will be moved back down the ladder.

Card gamble

By clicking on the gamble button after a win, you can try to double your winnings by clicking on the colour or suit of a card. If your colour choice matches the revealed card, you double your bet, and if the suit matches, you quadruple your win.

Snake wild

Anywhere from 3 to 10 animated snakes will be displayed as an overlay symbol during an occasional random snake spin in the base game. As soon as the reel stops, random snake symbols will be displayed over the initial symbols, taking up positions on the reels to fill some of the winning lines, increasing your overall win for that spin.

Bonus Buy

There are three popular bonus buy options available.

You can purchase the snake spin feature with a special bets button to increase your winning chances.

1. Pay 15x your bet and buy into a bonus that costs 100x your current wager. You can use this in a bonus round where you are given 10 free spins.
2. Pay 25% more than your current bet to help double your chances of getting a bonus feature.
